Revamp of hydrocracker blow-down system - second phase

Shell Deutschland Oil GmbH has initiated the implementation of the second phase (BDEP - Basic Design Engineering Package) of the revamp of the hydrocracker blow-down system in the Rhineland Refinery at Wesseling after successful termination of the scope of work of the first phase (BOD - Basic of Design) by Uhde Services.

The scope of work includes the engineering (process, equipment arrangement, piping, electrical and instrumentation) and preliminary procurement.

The overall project will be executed in three stages, the final commissioning of the revamped hydrocracker being scheduled for 2011. The hand-over of the as-built-documentation in January 2012 will mark the end of the project.
